Writers block - Coleen

I've always wanted to find a way to make a difference to others and this to me seems like a perfect medium to attempt that.

Born in a small town in North western Pennslyvania, I've spent most of my life in the Southwestern deserts which may sound like a desolate lifestyle to live, yet the city of Phoenix area with it's 2.5 million in population provides a perfect setting for people watching.

I started writing about ten years ago when a young coworkers wife died unexpectedly and premature.

It was then that I realized the importance words can have for consolation and effect on those who choose to live and endure.

I have an apparent life long quest of finishing my first novel. I have been a member of several online writers websites. Spent most of my time rhyming and writing poetry. Found several prospective mates in the process but had to give that up simply because my wife had very little appreciation for the fan club that naturally followed my artistic abilities.

Consequently most if not all poetry I write is focused on her. I haven't written any poetry in quite awhile.

All kidding aside, I love to write and quite honestly most often I find I have to.
